Vision Statement
- Effective governance in the Homeland, anchored on grassroots economic empowerment and resolution of issues facing migrant workers and their families, and with raised consciousness of a nation ready to march as one
- A strong and prosperous Philippines, under united, just and peaceful governance, strengthened by an effective political system where accountability and the rule of law prevail, with Filipinos in all parts of the world proactively participating in the mainstream activities of their Homeland and host countries, and whose citizens proudly assert: “Once a Filipino, always a Filipino”
Mission Statement
- Through a coalition and linkages with global and intra-country organizations and civic leaders, build a community of Filipinos worldwide and onshore, who are responsive, committed and empowered economically, socially and politically
- To that end:
- Economically: develop (a) sustainable market-based funding and mechanisms for micro and small enterprise financing and development; and (b) innovation and technology collaboration between onshore Filipinos and the rest of the world
- Socially: develop a program and mechanism to redress prioritized urgent issues facing migrant workers, whose families account for more than half of all Filipinos
- Politically: mobilize overseas Filipinos for a strategic role in the Global Filipino Nation’s struggle in nation-building and effective governance for the welfare of all Filipinos in the homeland and around the world
